Simili Japon Printmaking Paper

This 100% alpha pure cellulose paper is available in two shades: warm and bright ivory, or natural white. It’s very fine and smooth surface makes it particularly well adapted for printing fine details. It is internally sized and slightly surface sized allowing the paper to catch the ink and highlight fine details. It is completely archival - acid free, pH neutral and an alkaline reserve to resist ageing. Simili Japon is ideal for embossing techniques such as relief printing and linocut or other techniques such as screen printing and monotype. 
The 130gsm version is particularly well suited to rotogravure, silk screen and monotype printing while the 250gsm papers are ideal for intaglio.
